It is one of our two traditional Périgord stone cottages, fully renovated and designed to welcome 2–4 people. We installed a semi-covered terrace in 2019 to allow you to enjoy your meals outside by the river, or simply to relax in the shade on a hot and sunny day! A little history

A long time ago, well before the bridge was built, a ferry crossing allowed those who wished to cross the river. The ferry crossing was operated by a boatman who, according to his mood, welcomed more or less amicably the clients, be they people or cattle. He lived comfortably in the boatman’s home (today turned into a rental home) from where he could keep an eye on his ferry by the river. If you look carefully, you will be able to see by the river the remnants of a small dock where the ferry used to be.
