Gîtes in Dordogne Périgord Noir
Le Garrit*** campsite in the Dordogne also offers two recently renovated gîtes, built of traditional Périgord stone, the Gîte du Passeur and the Gîte du Four à Pain, overlooking the Dordogne River (see campsite map). Two little nests where you can spend a comfortable vacation in complete tranquillity.

La Maison du Passeur
The Maison du Passeur originally housed the ferryman who operated the ferry on the Dordogne . Then came the construction of the Garrit bridge in the 19th century. An authentic house whose heart used to beat to the rhythm of the passages of the gabarres on the Dordogne.
This gîte in a campsite in Dordogne Périgord noir sleeps 2 to 4 people. It comprises a bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, a TV, a fully-equipped kitchen, a shower room (Italian shower) with WC. The terrace with garden furniture and barbecue is semi-covered, so you can enjoy the outdoors on bad-weather days - let's be optimistic, the weather's always fine in the Dordogne.
The Bread Oven
The Gîte du Four à Pain is situated on the other side of the Dordogne campsite Le Garrit, not far from the swimming pool. With a terrace overlooking the river, this former bread oven has been fully converted to sleep 2 people in extreme comfort.
It has a bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa. The kitchen area is equipped with a dishwasher and microwave oven. You will also find a shower room (Italian shower), garden furniture, parasol and barbecue. You can enjoy our campsite in Dordogne with swimming pool in our different gites.
